The Universe in Your Kitchen I realized one day that everything I care about -- social justice issues like insuring a decent wage for everyone, creating relationships between people and building community, taking care of my own health, supporting the environment and helping to build a more sustainable future, addressing the unequal distribution of wealth in the world, opposing the corporate concentration of power -- is addressed when I bring consciousness to what I eat.
